You get a vault item when you have a ticket with 3 matching numbers.
I have been playing mafia wars for a VERY long time and NEVER gotten more than one or two matching numbers... It is absolutely ridiculous.
i just play for the hell of it since i neva get anything but ITRs or BMP, stinkn lotto

Layra I got a roulette wheel last week and a slot machine in September :) It does happen. I got the last one by cashing in 2 tickets at a time to get the extra ticket instead of the points or random item. Also gave me 11 tix to play with instead of 7. GL :)

i've won all sorts of items i can vault in the lottery. i have won rings, horses, drinks, even a yeltsin today, so i can't complain. and let me tell you, unless you have cleared NY, you are going to be happier than a pig in slop that you won them. because you need more than 300 bmp's to clear NY, more than 250 ITR's and 200 phones. so i'd say: take them anyway you can get them, because begging for them is so . . . well, it just gets old. my 1300+ mafia is kind, and always gives be a boatload of what i ask for, i just don't ask more than once a day usually.
just my opinion, as always, but never look at a gift as nothing. you might find yourself needing it sometime.

I hav 2-roulett tables, Slot Machine & craps table...I have not had any drops latley but 3 came in two week span... It is the luck of the draw it is.... I tried something it is not recomended but I used 2 God Father points to buy extra tickets I have saved the ticket until 6 and only got 1, 3, 5 Godfather points so one never knows and each time submitted 13-15 tickets each time

I have won the dice and the Craps table but nothing else since then and that was a month ago. But you got to think, its run by the Mafia. lol so you dont always get what you want.

Based on the Wiki site vaulting the collection gives you a 10% increase in loot drop from jobs. But since I have never pulled even 1 item from the Lottery I certainly can't confirm...
supposedly when you collect all of the Lottery Items it increases your chances of getting good loot drops when you fight. I have several friends that have vaulted that collection, and all of them tell me that it is not true....you have as much chance of getting good loot drops whether you vault the Lottery collection or not.

I have vaulted my LOTTO collection. The bonus is a 10% increase in loot drops. And you can only vault it once.
If you ask me....it's not really worth ALL the hassle of collecting them just get a 10% increase in loot drops.
I've heard a few people have won and vaulted the lottery items, but not many or surely not many as compared to how many play this game. Personally, I'm begining to wonder if Zynga even still offers them? I think they deleted the damn things... I been trying to months.
