"Mafia Wars : For this weekend only, double mastery on all New York jobs."
First I tought that I'm gonna have double of all mastery items if I did all tiers again, but apparently NOT! This is only works for you who has not mastered all tiers of New York yet.
Normally, your mastery goes up by a certain percentage each time you do a job, but this weekend that percentage will be double. So instead of a 5% job needing to be done 20 times, it will be a 10% job that only needs to be done 10 times.
For example :
Settle a beef permanently (Level 1) - you get 3% completition but now you will get 6% completition (2x)
So Everyone Try to Master all jobs tier quickly.

umm not true on all jobs. Extort a Corrupt Judge is still only going up by 2%

If you are a mogul character and last tiers in NY (Underboss and Boss) it's normally 1%, so 2% this weekend would be right.
It would've been nice, but we're half way thru the weekend and I haven't experienced this kicking in yet.

I haven't seen it either. Maybe they mean Halloween weekend. Nowhere does it mention any dates.

Well it didnt happen 4 me, would have bin cool though.
I mastered Associate Job tier long ago, and got reward for mastering it, but now it shows 0% of level 3 mastery and won't show anything when I tried to click on a job to see what happens. Help please!
Settle a Beeff... hmm.. there's nothin changed on the computation. The 2x XP gain for this job has long been that way if you have top mafias with 11% for both your Mastermind and Wheelman.
I was doin blackmail the district attorney, i was gettin 2% instead of 1%! I got up to 42% after the weekend was over apparently cuz i didn't finish it went back to 21% what kinda bullshit is this!
